i agree with graham, they bang on about people driving with no insurance or not declaring points, but with such ridiculous unnafordable prices do they wonder why?

Cut all insurance prices 50% and watch the amount of uninsured drivers plunge

It isn't that simple though. Prices go up because people do drive without insurance and companies are out of pocket.

Bit of a chicken and egg situation tbh.

Well seeing as I didn't get the 3 points for speeding that's neither here nor there.

still a right kick in the bollocks though.

greenlight add mod's onto your policy for not that much extra. i'm the same age as you with 3 NCB and they said they would add the eibachs onto my policy for free and a remap for 50 quid iirc.

Exactly that's what I'm thinking. I will definetly give them a try!

the only time your insurance check your details is when a claim is made

and you can just claim ignorance and say i forgot on renewal

Graham88

Not that I'd announce doing anything of the sort, but it's ridiculous and they wonder why people don't declare them!

whitter45

dont declare them
i didnt and had an incident and charged me an excess fee

I had a quote on an Astra VXR, £1600, with my track record I didn't think that was too bad.

21, 0 NCB, Fault crash in Jan 2009, 3 years had my licence.

But because I got 3 points last month I thought I'd add them on....

They want £2754.26

Are they seriously having a fucking laugh?
