Fair comment mate, want to get mine lower too, back is not a problem its just getting full lock on the front, dont like wide arches either so i am not putting them on it, personally think it is more impressive getting bigger wheels slammed on standard arches

aye i dont disagree - its just 350 quid id rather spend on other bits

not as if i need to adjust it a lot, just want it slammed!!

Save up and get coilovers mate, then you can have 60mm on the back which come with shorter dampers and then have the front as low or high as you want to

Dude, i know u can lower it more. Bloke had a white 1.4 Sport (talking Hemel 1+2, like 2+ years ago) which was -85mm and -90mm on the rear, had 16" speedline allesios on it. Was too low for me.

So what is it, is it a van or a car again? I think u should leave it as a van, looks much better :) :)

van - but metal plate is causing problems - its rusting on inside :( - was very well painted and sealed tho

so think im putting windows in.......again..........lol

i can get springs done by place in chesterfield

cant do back as id need EVEN SHORTER dampers too so springs dont fall out!!

if i can get another 25mm on front id be pleased -

des - could change kit, but im happy as it is :D only thing is my front bumper sits SOOOOO hi up

tempted to shot 85 - 90 springs on front and cutting it till it dont scrap as grigglet said ;)

it will cause more hassle than its worth,
bring it to Andys garage and we'll take the angle grinder to your bottom coil :)

I have 18's on mine mate and it is dropped about 75mm at the front, Just keep cutting till it dont rub, Trim the metal under the arch all the way as far as you can go, then you will need to slightly alter the shape of the arch so it dosn't catch.

Definately worth the hassle my car is slammed on 18's :)

Without wide arches :)

Do it m8. i ain't sure on the technicalities of it, but could go down 10-15mm and look better.

Don't wanna smash yer bumper up again tho

80 mm drop on front?

PainZ

posted on 27th Feb 03 at 15:55

well it looks mega low to me,

but then there was that widearch corsa with 90mm and back and 80mm at front and he was on 18s

spose you could just extend the back and rear bumpers?

Nismo

posted on 27th Feb 03 at 15:55

.................ok i want front end lower, its 60mm as it is, but i want it a lot lower as its easier then making kit extended down

so, how low do u think i can get front? i can just to say get my finger in between arch and tyre

ill just have 2 trim arch a bit - not bothered by ful llock - and it dont scrub as it is

i want it same as rear or lower if poss

what u think?
