I would imagine so. May even be worth sourcing a few different types and selling what you don't use. Problem that you might have is that the lever dimensions will be different for different cars/locks so you might end up needing to pull the handle further than it's designed to go and it might foul the casing, or alternatively the handle might not move as far but be stiffer to operate, which may stress the fulcrum.

That metal panel looks ripe for removal - is it bolted in?

The end of the cable just has a U shape hook on the end.

If it's a bowden cable then you'll probably find something off another car that will suit.

Who said the handle was cut off? The handle is attached to the door cards, so if you take them out you don't have a handle, you have to pull the cable to open the door.

why did he cut the handle off? should of left the handel on and cut round it, would make a small pulley with a grap handel on the end of the cable/rod so just pull it to open the door?

I mean the handle on the inside so you can get out! The standard item is attached to the door card. ATM he just yanks on the cable, but we need a proper solution

A mate of mine had a length of a timing belt to close the door. Also used the same thing for the "Jesus Christ" handle too!

for the people with stripped interiors running with no door cards (or maybe carbon cards) how have you gone about mounting the interior door handles? |
