If you get the revs just right you can slip it into gear WITHOUT using the clutch. My gf's driving instructor told me that lol. Managed to do it once/twice feels strange cause your not using the clutch

Is it getting worse... Could be slave or master cylinder from what your saying..

could be going to the floor or going nearer to the top when clutch is going, depends what set up you have,
normally with hydro clutch you wont have any adjustment, can just bleed it to see if that will do.

select fith gear take it to 5 grand and dump the clutch! it should stall without hisitation! if not then you clutch is foooked :)

It's a box out job just to fit a clutch technically anyway.

:| My clutch biting point is right at the top of the pedal travel?

New clutch time? weird it doesn't slip.

Corsa_Sport21

Try bleeding it thro the nipple on the gearbox see if that makes any difference.

nah fluid is fine.

Sounds like its going to be expensive. Obviously hasnt enjoyed my careful driving style since I got it :|

Jamie_Hastings1

It should bite higher off the floor,my corsa bit at the bottom i just adjusted it.

Corsa_Sport21

yeah if its hydro then when the pedal sticks to the floor thats it.But it could be the cylinder. Are u losing any fluid??

gavin18787

No it doesnt slip at all tried that

Booted it down a slip road in second and went for a full bore chav launch and nothing slipped

Boot it from lights and silly rpm, see if it slips or wheel spins? Sit on a hill on bite point ?

gavin18787

posted on 26th Mar 09 at 19:42

Would the biting point get closer to the floor or higher up in the air?

As the biting point of my clutch seems to be really close to the floor (about 5 inches) and I cant see anyway of making it higher as its a hydralic system :|

Bring back corsa cable clutches
