Only problem I had was delivery took a long while. Apart from that everything else was ok, but in the mean time, if I can, I will buy from somewhere else.

he had also hired a couple of lads who i think after all the shit before xmas he sacked or let go, so he could get on with the work himself or with help of a couple of genuine employees

Loads of people have had delivery problems with him. He said on migweb he got too big to quick & that he's a victim of his own success.

Bought loads of time off chris, 3 out the 4 times the delivery took about 3 weeks. 1 delivery came super fast though. Would probberly use them again.

Everything i've ever ordered has come super fast, sometimes even going out their way to get the parts delivered so not to stop build progress.

I bought all my xe conversion/rebuild bits about this time last year and always got a polite, 'happy to help' vibe. I dealt with a lad who called himself little kris (not chris astley) and iirc he had a 1.6 sport with dbilas inlet. :)

That's exactly the thing that annoyed me though - if he had said 'Sorry that's going to be XXX amount of weeks' I'd have happily waited because it was something I was wanting. But he kept talking shite.

he is a top bloke, he is so helpful and when he has the bits in stock he will always go out of his way to deliver next day, its when he has to order parts in for example hoses it takes a little time but still kept me informed.

This'll be the 3rd time I've wrote this on this site alone.

Bought an alloy bottom pulley off him and he said it'd take about a week to deliver. After a week and a half of not being able to do anything due to not having this item, I phoned and he seemed quite confused that I'd not received it. He said he'd send a new one out pronto (which I found quite odd) and after another week of it not coming I phoned again. Again, he said he'd send another because 'it must have been lost in delivery again' :boggle:

After that I just told him not to bother and refund me for fucking about. He said that'd be fine, the money will be in my paypal tomorrow. After about 3 or 4 days of constantly phoning him wondering why the money wasn't paid in, an alloy bottom pulley turned up at my door

There are always niggles with people like this, but he didn't seem the least bit interested when I phoned tbh, especially considering it was about 80 quids worth of kit. Since then I've actually gone out of my way to avoid buying things off him/the site just for the principal.

But the majority of people I've heard from seem happy with the service provided, so if I were you I wouldn't be too worried about using the site.
