Should of bought a new engine. I had a 1.4 16v corsa sport many years ago now and also suffered with the classic head gasket failure, cost me £250 for a second hand engine and £100 to fit.

Ive just had a new bottom end from the scrappy and a new reconditioned top end cos my cam belt had gone and i paid £500

head gasket went on car anyway a mate of myn is a mechanic and has quoted me £150 for it fixng and skimming would you say thats worth it?
