PAS and power steering are the same.

EPAS however, is Electrical Power Assisted Steering. EPAS is speed dependandt. Opel/Vauxhall call EPAS for EPS which then often gets confused for ESP.

you can get:

Electric power steering
Hydrualic power steering
Also Speed responsive power steering

But they all "Assist" you with the steering so id would have though PAS is just another shortcut form of power steering

just like Anti-lock Braking system (ABS)

Technically YES there is - I THINK

Power Steering is what big Jag's and Merc's have, do all the steering for you.

PAS is Power Assisted Steering, just helps you do the steering?
