someone on migweb did actually get bike carbs to run on an x16xe but i dont think it was easy nor reliable
so aftermarket is the way to go with your engine

The budget is as in I only have so much per month to spend I have a set of GSXR 1000 throtle bodies and was looking at fitting them with the standard ECU or a realy cheap mappable on for the time been un till I have a little extra cash spare

with bike throttle bodies you will need a standalone to run the coil pack as the the original ecu needs to sense the other sensores on the original manifold to get a spark ect, hence the reason im doing it on my c20xe which you can run a advancable dizzy sytem on it unlike the 16xe

speaking from experience you will need a after market ecu anyway to get the best from them.

With bike TB's you will need a different ECU

this is true to an extent but i have bought budget things for my engine and its getting RR'd next week so we shall see.

I have been looking at fitting bike throttle Bodies to my X16XE and am looking for any advise available also I have been told I will have to change my ECU or will I be able to keep the standard one for the time being as I am doing this on a budget and the car is a daily driver
