Originally posted by LETGSI16V Coping with power is being driveable even by a complete muppet IMO. Thats why I said about the torque doubling in a matter of a few hundred RPM, it wouldn't be too easy to hold it steady when bouncing the kerbs on a trackday.
So how come all the big power FWD cars we take on track regularly cope perfectly well? 300bhp mk4 Escort, 330bhp mk6 Fiesta, 400bhp mk6 Fiesta, another 330bhp mk6 Fiesta, a 340bhp Focus RS, they all cope fine, so does a customer's 500bhp Focus RS... As for being driveable by a complete muppet, with that logic, a lot of cars would be 'undriveable' as a muppet would get in, put their fut down and end up in a hedge.
