ntil you measure the bore you dont know if a rebore is needed. if its worn or oval then you will need an over bore. This will mean bigger pistons.

Crank will need measuring and possibly grinding, this will affect the size of bearings needed.

last question- if its a standard bore and crank cant you just use standard size pistions and bearings? As if you were just going to rebuild an engine?

there is no 'kit' as such because until the bore is measured you cant spec for pistons and rings and until the crank is measured you wont know what size bearings you will need.

I will let you know about that block, 90% of the hard work and measuring has been done for you, just needs assembly.

Not sure what you could change specifically to cope with the turbo better but ARP rod bolts and SBD cambelt rollers are what I put on mine for a good peice of mind if its going to get a hard life

Getting a new engine in the next few weeks. Its had a turbo conversion so I need a bit of advice.

I want to fully rebuild it if i can afford it and also build a better spec to cope with more boost ect.

Sooo.. what do I need? Both for the normal rebuild and the special parts such as low comp pistons ect.. Also will a turbo run on standard management remapped?

cheers
