what i dont get is that it never did it 2 days ago and it just started yesterday..

there is no reason for it..

But yeah that is a common noise. The initial swoosh is caused by the sudden change in pressure difference as the throttle plate angle changes quickly.

This is why you see acceleration fuelling settings in ECU's, to accomodate for this phenomena.

Is it just the one throttle making the noise?

Mines always done it since I got the car, I just assume its due to air being sucked into the throttle body tbh

chris_uk

yea mine is the same, if you do it gradually it doesnt do it, just when you plant your foot.

sounds a little bit like the noise my 1.2 C makes when I stick my foot down (i.e. straight down)

..doesnt do it if i gradually open the throttle though :boggle:

i heard it yesterday from low revs, sort of a swoosh noise, never heard it before and i know it hasnt been here in the past because you can really hear it.

ive located the noise back to the throttle body..

here is a video of what its doing.
