Well the early ecu isnt an immobilised one.

Should the ecu be the same though? I had a quick look earlier but i couldn't find a removeable cover like on the early one

aslong as you swop the chip in the key and the recevier around the barrel i should'nt see why not.

Should an early X14XE ecu be the same as a later X14XE ecu?

I have a superchip that inside a early ecu but i would like to put the chip in my ecu as im not sure if the early one works.

Also is it the ecu that's behind the plastic in the driver footwell?
