I once had a tyre come off my 17s on the motorway, only down the centre though, the sidewalls stayed attached to the wheel, centre of tyre disapeared, wasnt a run flat though. Cracked the alloy too :( | |

The air pressure sensors don't actually work until you set them up, once the tyres are pumped up to the designated pressure. | |

dont think so mainly motorway miles, very strange tyre wear on all the tyres one has perfect tread but for the side wall which has wire hanging out of it, but rac man says that he has never seen anything like it | |
