Around 30mpg is realistic when driving normally, but if your driving it it hard....
its not great on fuel.

Me and Lee did a 100 mile round trip yesterday, we put £20 in (half a tank) and theres just under 1/4 of a tank left now.

Mine is a fully built engine tho, with much more aggressive cams.

more around the 200 mark..... :lol: but that is thirsty, but hes the best person to ask on here id say :lol: my other mate with one always moans bout filling it up, but he has jumped from a 1.0 fiesta :rolleyes:

If your worried about fuel costs then dont get a bigger engine

I had a R reg one and it would get about 35 mpg. If you dont use the vtec it feels like a normal 1.6 car with no thrills. As soon as you start getting carried away and loving that vtec roar though watch the mpg drop!

owned one a while back.
can't remember specifically, but would have noticed if it was really bad, so must be 30-35 ish.
calibra 16v after that was much worse
