brings another question or two up...

1) would anyone buy nova stuff?
2) will the scrap man take a car with no wheels or suspension on it?

Just consider it a standard, cleaner alternative to the rear wiper, to which I might add I hardly ever use.

I will treat the rust, then refit the grommet.

TBF i would prefer a wiper as it is more practical (i like to see through a perfectly clean windscreen and rear screen. But i took it all off to get the motor out, went to the breakers and they didnt have any so instead of putting it all back together, put the 75p gromit in there and i thought it looked alright.

Like I say. It's not a "mod" just a replacement for the rear wiper that looks cleaner. I'm not into paying £000's on smoothing bodywork or any of that jazz.

You're right it does look alright. A lot cleaner imo than the rear wiper.

Not a mod. Some base model corsas never had a wiper and had a grommet fitted as standard.

Not paying £150-£200 to have my boot flushed.

I reckon it looks cleaner so the grommet shall stay :)

Yeah it looks so much cleaner at the back than with a wiper.

Going to sand, prime, spray at the weekend then refit the grommet :)

:(

Suffering from rust beneath the wiper

Going to sort that at the weekend. Going to do paint it with rattle cans.

"NOoooooooooooooooooooo", I hear you say, well I removed the rev 1 3 piece spoiler off my old red MR2 and filled the 3 holes either side and sprayed with colour match from Halfords, wet and dried it and T-cutted till me arms were massive. Looked factory

The wiper and motor weighs just over 1Kg :!
