That's brand new, you'd get a decent second hand one for about £700, not 4 grand

the v6 engine are exactly the same the 4pot turbo is definatly a saab only thing as it has saab stamped all over. im on the look out for a 2.3 full pressure turbo lump so if anyone can find me one you can have some cake :)

The 4 cylinder is not a GM engine, it's a Saab engine, it was developed by Saab, not GM, even if Saab is owned by GM.

It was also ONLY used in Saab cars, not other GM models, unlike the V6.

It's all GM

I think what he meant was the v6 is a vauxhall variant engine

The Saab engine in question is also a GM item:thumbs:

should get a scrap corsa and just play about with it in your spare time andy see how much work it would take.

That's because the V6 is a GM engine, not a Saab one, the 4 cyl is a Saab engine, but by the looks of things, would still go in fine with a few bits of bent steel and some welding.

for the people that posted in the other thread about fitting a saab engine. we just so happen to have a 2.0 turbo swinging around at work. pictures of engine mountings etc. only thing thats a bit random are the water pipes not sure how they connect up yet. the engine mount is quite low down but its nothing 10 mins with the welder couldnt sort out.:)
