I would just pop it into another tyre place and ask them to laser track it. Then ask them if it was very out.
I take it your a fittie judging by your username, maybe this was the reason for the cheap price?

the camber means a car will drift to the left if you take your hands off the wheel, pulling is a different thing when you can actually feel the steering pulling to the left

The pulling to the left might just be due to the camber of the shit roads in this country.

EDIT: Damn you David.

did he check the tracking by using laser alignment, or did he just look at the wheels?

but he charged you £10 to change your wheels over and check the tracking. would have taken him about 15 mins which is worth £10.

whats the problem?

Does every car not pull to the left slightly though. I thought it was a saftey feature, for when you fall asleep at the wheel you wont hit oncoming traffic.

I just find it a bit strange ive been taking my corsa there for around 7 years i was just expecting a bigger bill and more work, i think im gonna give him a call at lunch and suttlely explain about the tracking.

If its possible and say can you take a 2nd look as it still dont feel right. Shouldn't charge you anything for checking it. :)

Have you got new pads / discs? If so - don't complain

I took my car in the garage on Saturday as driving up to Warwickshire this Friday. I thought it needed brakes, discs and i also asked him to check the tracking and change the back wheels onto the front. He had it all day and when i came to pick it up he charged me a tenner said everything was fine and its all good to drive up. How wierd is it when you go somewhere and tell them to do whatever it needs and you end up with a small bill like that.:o
