i was told that a small rebuild and fitting would cost 2k

and i supply the engine but i dont know what they would rebuild

Ive bought the engine, sfi, gearbox its just all the rest of the pieces and getting it fitted i have days when i think sod it jut sell the lot and buy a newer quicker car then i drive it and think yep i love this and i still want to do it im just impatient and have house bills which are more important.:(

Budget £1500, I spent 1k on all my bits, and fitted it myself.

Getting someone else to fit it would be much more expensive than doing it yourself lol

If your worried about the engine, why not go for a 1.6 for the time being?

i can put 400 a month away really, will take me 4 months to save though :(

I didnt i decided to just spunk part of my months wages and just get it done :lol:

Definately reccomend saving up for it though. Depends how much you can put away each month etc as to how long it would take :)
