Never jack it up on the sill points with a trolley jack, there meant for a scissor type jack.

i alwasy jack mine on the rear beam, in the middle when working on the brakes and stuff and then on just behind the bushe's when doing the suspension.

stop posting now. you're not being of any help. you're just trying to be a clever dick over the internet by telling other people how to jack up their own car and suggesting they dont know how to do it and you do because you know everything about everything.

i know exactly where you jacked it up, because i watched a mate of mine jack my old corsa up in the same spot you have, at it did indeed put a dent in the rear footwell. Its not the jacking point, but you can fix it by tapping it with a lump hammer from inside, it neds back quite easily

yeh i know where it is. the car isnt rotten. its got the usual rust that you might expect underneath a 12 yr old car. must have been from something else then.

When me and monster put the rear shocks on, i think the floor has dented up just behind passenger seat by rear foot well. I think its just from the weight from wen we jacked it up as the point looks quite weak. this happend to anyone else? any advise? im thinking a jock of wood and knock it back in?
