speed camera detectors are a waste of time imo, they just dont give enough warning and they give that many false warnings that when it is a genuine one half the time you ignore it anyway.

obviously it may catch the odd one, but imo they arent worth the 350 quid or whatever asking price, there is a cheaper alternative, dont speed in areeas you know are dodgy, i do this and have never yet been caught speeding, touch wood, and ask most people who will probably say i drive like a maniac

they will pick up on most things using infrared, traffics lights etc included, the problem is, by the time its picked it up, the police will have had you, they can get you upto 1/2 a mile away if your in line of sight

road angels are a con, the laser detection goes off at either things that arent even speed traps, or when it does go off for a speed trap, most of the time the copper will have already got you.

I cannot be arsed for some dim wit Halford monkey trying to expain the differences between the £150 one and the £200 one, so can someone give me a run down on why one is £50 more expensive than the other and is it worth that extra £50? |
