arent there some parts of the x that can be transfered onto the z so its cable throttle rather than fly by wire?

I presume the z12xe is the Twinport unit? Probably be slightly quicker than your existing 1.2 16v.

should indeed

I wouldnt take on that conversion, its a completely different engine and wiring system so he would need to swap over the ecu and loom, immobiliser bits and then find a way to get your corsa B dials working, would need to wire in a fly by wire throttle system and retro fit the corsa C pedal,...........

asking for hassle IMO.

Z12XE is fly by wire, you have no chance. Find another X12XE it will make life easier.

hi, the headgasket went on my sxi and ive got it rescimmed but its still buggered so i rang up this engine speicalist company and they have a z12xe from an 04 C with less than 20,000 that he says he can fit to mine which did have a x12xe with 87,000 in there. discuss please pros and cons

thanks

Yes sir.

I would imagine the complete wiring of the engine would have to be changed. Would be much easier (and cheaper) to find another x12xe.
