Originally posted by Gaz yeah, i understand in that situation. Im just saying that you should not always fuck customers off just because of their attitude/Dress sense etc.
Think 90% of the time it comes down to the actuall circumstances, and instinct tells you whether to bother wasting your time or not. If this bloke came in and serisouly thought he'd got an extra 35 brake off an exhaust and air filter, and questions that TB's are only going to get him an extra 15 brake, i know i'd just give up with the bloke because he's seriously ill-educated, and trying to put him right would more likely end in an argument, because he think's he's right :look:. I think it comes down to the point really that if people are serious about spending money on their car, the first thing you do is research into it and try and find what's available, and what kind of gains can be obtained. What this bloke said seemed as if he hadn't got a clue, hence wouldn't buy anything anyway. If he went away and researched into it a bit more, he'd realise what Dave said was true, hence, Dave's done nothing to tarnish his reputation towards the guy in future :look:.
