no bodyshops just tell you that it needs to be filled and sprayed.
I asked at the local vauxhall garage, if you ask in the used car bit they usually have people who come round and do it  as thats where they get most of their work

No? Didn't think they'd entertain the idea of a few dents being removed tbh.

Get the chips painted properly. Smart repairs come up dull.

TBH the chips are too bad. My dads 2006 car has a lot worse. It's the dents I want to sort out more.

What's generally the best dent removal franchise in the Uk then? Dent Wizard?
Wouldn't know, you have the problem of them being franchises too so some people could be crap... Not looked at bodyshop prices?

Sounds promising that :D

Will definately call up for a quote after work  (as soon as I decide which one to ring :o)

My Dad had 3 big caved in dints removed from the doors on his car after my stepmum damaged it. They came out quite well. Think it was £80.

If I look down the door from a certain angle I can see a slight ripple though. But unless you knew where the dints used to be you wouldn't be able to tell.

Got 2 big dents, about 50p size on either door where I opened them onto a wall (twice :o). Then I have those little ripples you can only see at a certain angle from bastard carpark door dings. I'd be happy paying no more than £80 tbh. I'd be even happier if people respected other peoples cars and didn't fuckin swing the door open on them

Do they come round and give a quote first then :boggle:

place near me in derby does £40 for the first panel then £30 for each extra panel after that. No matter how many dents in each iirc

Ok, looked at Dent wizards site and it's from £45 a panel.

What does that mean exactly? If I have 1 tiny door ding on that panel then that'll cost £45?

Where as if I have 10 tiny dings on one panel that'll still cost £45?

A bit shit if it's like that :o

I know you can buy "home kits", I just always imagined they'd be wank, and tbh i'd rather just pay someone and not have to move my arms.

IIRC, you can buy a dent removal and they are OK, my grandad has got one and it works a treat

How much do these dent removal companies generally charge?

I have a few parking dings that I don't require anymore.

Also, do they fix chipped paint?
