on the gsi bumper there is a semi circle bit in the bumper and the rounded edges to the sides of the grill had to be altered

and i had the grill cut so it sat in the v shape put in the bumper

cant find the camera

but that grill was modified and so was the bumper but your best bet if you want a post 97 grill to fit a gsi front would be imo

.. get a post 97 bumper and cut off the bits that surround the grill and then get it plastic welded onto the bumper

i think you could cut the grille up a bit and make the horizontal lines of the 'V' showing, would look quite good i think :)

ask iviarkgraham for more details as that is his car.

:O KROOZUK-BEN that looks sexy. can see how its not meant to fit though but the V bit stands out well.

Thanks Ste L, thinking about it with the colour of my GSI i dont even know if it would suit. When i get the car tomorrow and when the grille arrives i'll try and sit it were it should go and post pics up to see what you lot think

can be done, picture this with a v-grille, instead of a badgeless one ;)

You'd have to adapt the bumper as well as the grille

Well looks like i will go badgless on the GSI, i was just hopeing to make it standard as possible but with newer upgraded parts etc

damn i didnt think so, i have bought one. ahh well never mind it will have to be made to fit :) just hope i dont have to butcher the bumper to do this. If not i will make it fit on my Sport instead :)

with a bit of modding they do...

people fit badgeless version's to them, like mark lawton ;)
