quote: Aye still the same backbox. The centre section rusted through so they fitted a new standard centre section and refitted the backbox. Not rattled since they refitted it!

quote: So you kept your backbox? Maybe if I used a decent exhaust place to make me a new centre section that could work.

quote: Some manufacturers are not as good fit as others......thats what im saying!! & If you fit it slightly off it will rattle!! Try stiffer/shorter hangers & experiment with the connection to the center pipe, you will be able to make it better less bangs/rid it totally!!! pmsfl @ cable ties.........you know how hot an exhaust gets?? It will smell like a plastic factory & eventually break:lol: [Edited on 02-02-2007 by Colin]

It will only rattle if you make a bodge job of fitting it or if its an inferior make of exhaust.

Its hitting the rear axle. It has happened to most on here. To solve mine, ive used cable ties all over the place to hold the exhaust a bit firmer, and it has never happened since. !
