Mine used to knock.

Then I had a new centre section fitted by a proper exhaust place and its been fine since then!

So you kept your backbox?

Maybe if I used a decent exhaust place to make me a new centre section that could work.

Aye still the same backbox. The centre section rusted through so they fitted a new standard centre section and refitted the backbox. Not rattled since they refitted it!

Maybe if you went to powerflow you would never have the problem  :D

It will only rattle if you make a bodge job of fitting it or if its an inferior make of exhaust.

Not always though. Mine was for my car, but still knocked the rear axle.

Some manufacturers are not as good fit as others......thats what im saying!!

&

If you fit it slightly off it will rattle!!

Try stiffer/shorter hangers & experiment with the connection to the center pipe, you will be able to make it better less bangs/rid it totally!!!

pmsfl @ cable ties.........you know how hot an exhaust gets?? It will smell like a plastic factory & eventually break:lol:

Ive out mine around the arm bit on the back box and loop it around the hanger mounts.

I also put in powerflex exhaust mounts which hold the exhaust higher up.

Its hitting the rear axle. It has happened to most on here. To solve mine, ive used cable ties all over the place to hold the exhaust a bit firmer, and it has never happened since. !
