I always thought the studs were stronger?

But anyway, I believe one of the downsides of having studs is when removing the head. You will be required to drop a mount so you can lift the head off with the inlet (or something along them lines). Might not be an issue for AK as hes had alot removed from the engine bay.

YUP IM IN MIDDLE O DOING ENGINE AGAIN AND IM USING ARP STUDS AND NUTS AS WELL.
FUCK WI BUYING NEW BOLTS EVERYTIME.

whet..

same chance of a bolt shearing. Same hassle sorting it.

The main reason i've gone from bolts to studs n nuts is that my head in on and off like a cheap tarts pants. I'd need new bolts everytime as OE headbolts stretch.

ARP headstuds will be stronger too

why is it better to use studs over head bolts? surely theres the same chance they will shear off in the block?
