prefer gsi for looks, but would go for sport as newer and you can stick the kit on it

I'd always get a Sport as they're not as old, have better spec than most GSi and I prefer the interior. You can always retro fit the GSi kit to a Sport if you really wanted that look. I've often (as in at least twice a week! ) though about buying a 1.6 Sport and recreating a 'GSi on Speedlines' replica!

mine 'had' a sunroof, electric windows, electric heated mirrors, drivers airbag

depends on what option level is on the gsi in question...

gsi looks the part, where as the sport looks just like every other corsa in standard form

I still think the gsi is the best looking corsa ever, just get whatever's in best nick for the money you have.

gsi is older, but just as quick as a sport unless you get an earlier gsi with the C16 which then its only marginally faster than a sport.

sport has the X16XE as does the later GSi (95-M to 96-N)

GSi is 10+ years old depending on what one you get, sport is younger

ignore people when they say the engine in the gsi is shit or there full of problems, its just because there not well looked after. yes the C16 suffers from problems with smokeyness & burning oil, but what engines dont? X16 will be same as the sport, but there are 3 different ECU's for it. Makes it fun when sorting out a fubar'd one.

GSi looks nicer IMHO

sport always.

Newer

Depends on insurance?

GSi is group 11, 1.6 Sport is group 10.

GSi is slightly quicker, yet older.

Id pick the Sport myself.
