Ive got an x16xe with a broken belt and an x14xe with the big ends away. What power would i be looking it with an x16xe bottom end and x14xe head with x14xe mangmnet?

the X14XE head and inlet manifold are different too ed. you would have less power than an X16XE.

but like Lee says, its just easier to get an full X16XE in there.

no, you get the equivalent of an x16xel

the x14xe and x16xel had smaller inlet ports and shared the same head.

No you get an X16XE. An XEL has a different inlet manifold.

do I get an X16XEL?

and difference in torque compared to a proper X16XE

Is it worth changing only the bottom end or the whole engine to a X16XE one?
