when I checked, newman 264 cams were identical to the schrick 264 profile. which is regarded as one of the best mild cams for the x16xe.

JRE? who are they?

as for not touching them with a barge pole id be interested to hear why? i have nothing but good things to say about them, as do many other people!

i mean they made 190bhp with my corsa, and we have a 1.6cvh running 340+bhp with a newman cam, and must have fitted 10-15 newman cams to other escorts recently with no problems!

doubt you will, i deal with them alot thru work and we get good discount if we buy in bulk, but a single order wont be that good to discount on. they are a good price for what you get anyway.

so ill deffo be looking at 280+vat?

i just saw that on the site, but wondered if anyone can get them cheeper

*i meant 264**

newman dont do a 268 profile, they do:

264

270

288

300

bottom two ownt run on standard injection systems, i.e. need management

price will be 280+vat

you will need to be a good customer or buy 2-3sets to get them at a reduced price.

most will be 280+vat and postage tho, youll be lucky to get it cheaper

they are a very good company to deal with, i used their 288 cams and will be using them ot spec up some new cams for me.

id deffo advise running verier pullies. i.e dbilis ones for cars on standard management, then get the car mapped aswell!
