worthwhile contribution. Where are we going?
its yet another 2.0xe vs 1.6xe thread:lol: right, heres my opinion. having owned a 2 litre corsa and a tuned 1.6 even though the 1.6 cost a squillion times more to build I wouldnt ever try and compare the two. the following points are the reasons why: 1. noise of tb's on the 1.6 is lovely 2. handling 3. throttle response 4. reliability 5. its different 6. faster than the 2 litre on the road. 7. did I mention the noise?
eh.... :boggle: this is TB'd c20xe and TB'd 16xe though... Noise - i think a 20xe with tb's is better. handling - down to the driver. A lot of folk will kid themselves that they can do x y z... all reality is you prob just have to drive the 20xe corsa differently than a 16xe. In the right hands a corsa with 20xe handles. fact throttle response.... why on earth is that better with a 16xe? reliability - if both are equally well built, they are as reliable as the other. faster on the road - rubbish. i was asking Q's about a specific car, not saying x is faster than y and always will be. You turned this into the argument you were arguing against :boggle:
