I'd rather have a GSi than a supertouring.

ST200 is the only white vectra to get

There not exactly designed for 1/4 mile racing! There a family sized saloon/hatchback with an average amount of power! If your looking for performance and are looking at vectras you re very much in the wrong place!

Saying that i did enjoy my vectra V6 but that had a few ££££ thrown at the engine.

wait for the V6, is a good engine and makes an ace sound! ;)

2.0 16v is a little pathetic for a car of that size

thats true, thats why i went jap (200sx S14) after that coz i liked bigger cars but the power also, but then realised they were costly when they went wrong although i had no trouble with it so kept it for a year and bought my corsa

That's not a bad time imo, it's hardly light is it!

2 litre and 2.5 litre ST had standard brakes (possibly V6 ones on the 2 litre) but ONLY the ST200 had the ap's

V6 is more saught after than the 2 litre, so prob best avoided TBH

Well i've driven a GSI Veccy and it wasn't much kop so a 2L 16V must be dog slow.

I think there were a few 3.0 V6 Super Touring, VVOC boys will know for sure.

Yeah there is a V6 one which is pretty rare and a 2.0 16V which isnt as rare.

Ah didnt realise there were two engine options in the supertouring;; i remember seeing them on top gear when they were 1st released. Prob best to hold out for the 2.5 then

Worth asking on VVOC m8.

iirc they are same as a 2.0 16v SRi but with AP 4 pot brakes, white alloys, Recaros and decals? I know the V6 Supertouring and the AP's for sure, just assuming the 2.0 did.

What do these coompair like next to the GSi, im guessing they dont have the sound but what about performance etc? There is one on ebay at the mo that if an offer on a clio i have made dosnt get accepted then i may have a closer look:boggle:
