ok cheers people ill just leave it, have to take it back to vauxhall tommrrrow to get the light put out again another £40 just to remove the light :lol:

definiteyl not a fail. someone asked in Total Vauxhall this month, and they said it wasnt

also, my MOT tester at work agrees that its not a fail (i asked to be sure)

its not a legal requirement, but some testers wont know this

just take the bulb out if you are worried, or tape over it, should be fine without, but better safe than sorry

Last week my car failed its mot on headlight height, welding needed and a new steering rack. Got the steering rack finished today but the problem now is that the airbag light has come on and my mot is at 8.30 tommorrow will they fail it on the airbag light, but i have heard that the airbag light is a non testable item and i cant find anything on the internet about an mot testing the airbag light.
