Originally posted by Jason2004 how do i go about changing the engine size on paper.... will be changing it at the end of the month.... also is it alot more on insurance as it is a conversion?:boggle:
When my engine conversion was done I filled in the section on the V5, sent a copy of the V5 which the engine had come from (to prove the engine number etc) together with an engineers report. As for insurance- will be more obviously (tax will be as well depending on what engine you have now), but find a specialist- I'm with Greenlight but they only insure people over 21. Also check the small print or ask if the insurance company do "like for like" replacement on your mods- cos if you're involved in an accident then they have the ability to return your car (engine included) back to standard or write it off if it's deemed to expensive to repair.
