get v6 ones, i use them on mine, and ive never, ever had them fade

they are 288mm
2litre ones are 256mm iirc

and you cannot, ever have brakes which are too good for the car

m sutton on here has a v6 set up on his 1.2 8v.....

Rikki - Thats discs, pads, calipers, hanger, spigot rings.

Just take the old ones off and bolt new ones on, bleed and away you go.

Just changed my fronts on my mantzel'd 1.6 sport to vectra V6 front brakes.

£215 from LMF and they work a treat.

i have been looking to upgrade the brakes on the front of my car,

Have read the tutorial on upgrading them,

but just want to check a few details, what are the sizes of the 2.0 discs and the v6 discs?

Also which brakes would be recommened? for a 1.4 on dbilas tb's should I just go for v6 or would they be too good for a 1.4?

will I need the calipers from the same car as the discs came from? I current have the std brakes on my SRi (vented discs)

I would also like a bit on info on a rear disc conversion, what size discs are needed on the rear? and is there many members on here that have done the conversion
