u have to tell them is a conversion m8. im with tesco, tehy were fine about the 2.0 going in, but went up 500quid:(

So if i rung liverpool victoria, told them my reg number, would it show as 1.4 or 1.0?

for fuck sake, how many times do u have to ask the exact same question? how many times have i told u to look on that list of fuckin insurance companies and ring up ur fuckin self and find out what they say.

No, you would need to declare this as a car that's been converted and they would be able to check by the dvla update anyways i pressume.

Try Brentcare for insuring..

needs to be insured as a conversion... think NovaGTE used a company who classed his 20xe conversion as a mod not a conversion though :thumbs:

I have a 1.4 16v Corsa that has been converted from a 1.0 12v. Is there any insurance companies i could use apart from Adrian Flux/HIC etc to insure this. Cant i Just insure this as a 1.4 16v corsa instead of an engine conversion. The car has been registered with the DVLA as a 1.4 16v.
