Our model is the same as yours! The SA one you are on about was only made, because the Corsa B was faceliftet in 2001 to compensate for the fact that Corsa C was not released over there!

Basically with Vauxhall anyone in the motor trade can join the Vauxhall "Trade Club" for free, and get huge discounts on commonly used parts, like service parts, lights, brakes, etc. cheaper than normal trade prices.

I'm a mobile mechanic apparently... :o

I know the Vaux ones are much cheaper, unfortunately they point in the wrong direction so will do me no good... I need LHD ones...!

Not a chance! The Corsa C is not all too common over here and only the GSi and Sport models come with these!
Usually all I see at scrappys are pre facelift 1.2's!

The last time i went into a vaux dealer the rather arrogant unhelpful man behind the desk didnt know the calibra/cav turbo both infact used the same engine.

For the last few weeks I've tried to get a price on a pair of facelift Corsa C headlights. The first guy I talked to just laughed at me and said there was no such thing!

Second guy didn't seem convinced that I new what I was talking about, but promised to check up on it and call med back... he never did!

Rather anoyed I phoned them for the third time yesterday and was yet again told to wait for them to contact me.
Believe it or not, today they did!

Price on facelift headlights: 250£ + VAT... per side! With our VAT that makes 625£ for a pair of headlights! Unbelieveable...

Anyway, rant over! :)
