Take the battery out and the airbag cant go off

Have you got a standard Vauxhall wheel on at the mo then?

If so - Make sure the airbag is disengaged (if you have one), remove the centre of the steering wheel (either airbag or horn or both) - This will leave a nut exposed - Remove this nut then pull your wheel off. This bit is easier than it sounds tho as the shaft is tapered and the bolt pushes the wheel down the taper so its hard to get off.
