Thanks guys, wasn't expecting that big a response!

Here are a couple of before pics, lets hope the weekend is dry and the wife doesn't have other plans!

Yes, it's got lexus lights but I've only just got it and haven't made my mind up what to replace them with.

Thanks again.

Hair dryer won't do it mate need a heat gun if your goin down that road.
Honestly though a toffee wheel is the best way thats how we do it in the bodyshop, and thats how i did mine.

lol yeh tis pretty hard work - ul guaranteed get bored halfway and get pissed off ( I did ) then for you'll stop and look halfway through - it may look wank to begin with bt the end result is deffo gud  Post sum b4 and afta pics 2! Oh and dnt yank the strips off hard, wrk the slowly - I poured boiling water on them to soften them then gently pulled them off.

bit of heat from heat gun, gently take them off, dont want to bring any paint away with them! then some meths/similar to get rid of glue,T-cut and polish

Blonde16vCorsa

posted on 29th Nov 05 at 21:17

use a rubber/toffee wheel, goes into a drill, if you've got any mates that work in a body shop they'll know wot i'm on about. You'll get it all off in about 10mins with this but don't stay in the same place for to long or you'll burn the paint. Then just a quick polish, job done.

yes they r stuck on - will leav a lot of crappy glue behind. i used a lot of elbow grease and WD40! then once all off, T-Cut and Polish

Just a quicky, are the Corsa Sport bump strips stick on and if so will them leave much crud behind if I take them off?

Best way to do it?

Cheers all.
