yes you really really do need an intercooler on the std let.

low blow turbo engines like the old nissan bluebird things its not such a big deal

And you explained to me about the gearboxes! ive learnt today. Might be worth me bringin the corsa to you and leaving it with team muppetsport come the time rather than trying!

quote:

muppetsport says:
dunno, never really looked for one to be honest. its exactly the same as fitting an xe engine wise, wiring is the same. just some of the water pipes are different and of course you have boost pipes. same engine as an xe so the basics are the same
Jammmmmmmmmes says:
what do boost pipes go to
muppetsport says:
from air flow meter to the turbo then turbo to the intercooler then intercooler to the inlet manifold
muppetsport says:
if you look at a pic of my eninge bay the red hoses (larger ones) are boost hoss

Sounds like you dont know shoot

Yeah cheers mate I seen that before, bit more involved in the let with boost pipes and what not, rather than going by haynes guides was wondering if there was a simpler explanation for the swap

Anyone know of any LET conversion guides for Nova or Corsa. Found this one, http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/resources_c20LET.htm on here but its for a mk2 Astra so maybe a tad different.
