I'd go anywhere if the car was right! Even abroad if it was still RHD!

At the time I lived a couple of miles from Oxford city centre, bought my Astra from Iver, Buckinghamshire (just outside of Slough/Langley).

do you still have all the standard bits?
may increase the chance of a local sale if it was boggo.
then you could sell all the parts and post them to buyers

vxsri

yeh tried a trade in, about 2 grand below private sale price!
wont be doing that!!

myke

ah. i should imagine that might be a prob then unless someone on your island wants to buy it.

considered part ex or getting a garage to sell it for you?

i should think so.
i'd be willing to travel a couple of hours to view a car if it was what i really wanted.

if it becomes a problem then advertise it as being at a town a bit closer to civilisation then you can travel a wee distance to meet anyone wanting to view.

I would, except for the 3 hour ferry trip to get to civilization!!

I'm thinking about puting the Corsa up for sale but I think I might be screwed because of where I live.

I'm used to having to travel to buy a car but does it work the other way?

Any selling tips are welcome.

I live in the Isle of Lewis (NW Scotland) btw
