pre tensioners arent part of the test mate.

and a seat belt is only part of the test if there is a seat for it to be used on. even if the belt is a failure it cant fail if there is no seat in the car.

we had a car in, corsa ls with sport interior, pretensioners had gone off but it passed anyway, not all seatbelts have them, im not sure if its testable

oh and just to clarify, ma GSi had a dodgy pre tensioner whcih had went off. still passed mot, dunno if he noticed it tho

you must have an operational seat belt for each seat in the car.

thats what i was wondering, if the seat is not in will i have to take the full seat belt out :boggle:

if the pre tensioner is there it will be a fail!

pretty sure you'll be alrite without the seat in, maybe take the whole seat bealt out!

Will i need to have my passenger seat in the car if the seat belt is fitted.

If i do will a pretensioner that has went off be a fail?
