you mean Air Mass Meter?AMM does the same job as intake air temp sensor.it simply measures the density of air to provide perfect fuel/air ratio for maximum efficiency. nothing to do with EGR

GSi has different alloys too. C16XE responds better to tuning thanks to no EGR, secondary air pump gubbins and higher compression.

quote: On a C16XE GSi exhaust values are larger, theres to types og GSi's early 93-94 plate (L-reg) C16XE engines have black plastic inlet manifolds & X16XE (94-96) (M-N reg) have the same engines as the sport 1.6, though on the X16XE engine your inlet manifodl is metal  (oh 1.6 sport is lower insurance group than GSi)

sport has no real bodystyling... just a spoiler.. GSi has skirts, fogs etc... also the earlier GSi's had pre-ecotec c16xe engines whereas all sports have either x14xe (1.4 16v) or x16xe (1.6 16v) both with egr system... ooh and c16xe is about 109bhp... x16xe is 106bhp and x14xe is 90 bhp
