sam ur a crazy mofo and i dnt think anyone else is quite as mad as u dude to spend this sort of money of door cards, by selling just seems your gona end up losing way to much money and think about time you have wasted and will waste in creating new door cards.

my opinion is .... i like your corsa :) mate having the number plate recess the same size as number plate is well trick mod!!! :cool:

as for the doorcards, they are trick too! although i reckon it would be hard to find someone to pay more than £400!

But mate if you sell them with the speakers then spend £400 on the same ones new you will only essentially be getting £100 for the rest if they went for £500!!!

Nah not changing the ICE really just want something to do over the next few months so thought id re-do the door cards, if i sold them i would probably get the same speakers:lol: its just i cant sell them with out really as wouldnt get much with people knowing they would have to pay £400 for the speakers to fit them!

i am still tempted by the W7 but i just dont think i will get an install to look as good as mine now with the back seats in and im not taking them out as thats just to much work and im not that keen on the stripped out with big ICE look in corsas!

i could be tempted to change the ICE if someone made me an offer i couldnt really turn down for the install and doors:thumbs:

Well i paid £200 for mine which was just the door pod and that was cheap IMO; the speakers in there were no where near as good and didnt include the door card itself; i would say around the £500 mark wouldnt be far wrong:thumbs:

okay so you paid £500 for the speakers, call that £250-300.

Unquie door pocket build which took 3 solid days of work, call it £200.

fooking loads if im honest, spent 3 solid days at the bodyshop building them in the first place then had to cut them up and re shape parts to fit in the car, which took a few weeks working a few hours here and there!

The cheapest i can find the components on the net are £400! i paid £500 for them originally!

Probably paid £100+ bodyshop bills for them to be painted and ential help then probably £200+ worth of trimming and painting handles etc!

I reckon they would fetch a fair bit of money including the speakers. Would cost at least a couple of hundred to be made proffesionally not including the cost of the speakers

how many hours went into building the pair of door pockets?

My door cards:


would be the the whole door cards, top alcantara trimmed part and the painted builds and the speakers(dont really wanna sell speakers but cant really sell the builds without as its only these that will fit:look:

would also include the tweeter builds and possibly the smoothed and painted handles and covers and chrome door pulls!

The builds aint perfect but if the buyer wanted to re-spray to match the car etc then they could be made totally minted very easily, and they sound fooking awesome:thumbs:
