Are you getting strange revs while driving along?
When I had my corsa I used to drive along when I went to change gear the car decided to rev really high. My mechanic couldn't find a problem.

Eventually the car broke down it ended up be the ignition coil that was faulty, got it replaced and it was fine.

Yes and no really! It wasn't the right ECU for the car so thats one thing sorted but changing it for the right one didnt sort the revving problem out!

Posted a while ago about my car revving by itself! Any way, it went to a garage to be looked at and they said it was a problem with the ECU......it wasn't even a Vauxhall ECU in the car . So I got that sorted and the car was still revving! Took the inlet manifold off yesterday and noticed that

A) the gasket had 2 splits in it
B) the silicone hose that connects the top of the manifold to the bottom is distorted

I'm going to replace these parts tonight but could this be the end of my problem? :boggle:
