Surely if he doesnt want to lose £500 just ring around elsewhere?

yea he has reference and everything, and he will be able to ask for the replay of the phone call, i know they don't have to insure him at the end of it, just trying to get the £500 back

quick reply needed guys mate got a quote on a car about 4 days ago when on fone they asked how long been driving he said year and half etc.. years no claims then they quoted him, now he just rung up to take the policy now they saying they misquoted him and now it's £500 more expensive, they can't legally do that can they? they said he has to be driving for 2 years, but they didnt say that on the original phone conversation when he said year and a half, so legally they can't change the price?
