exactly, my alloys came with alloy valves with strange caps, they were stole in a week, funny thing is they wont even fit on normal valves like on bikes so they prob just threw them anyways...

annoying thing is i now have to just basically jam on the plastic ones as normal valve caps dont fit on my valves GRRRRR

I has this problem on my BMX. :o. Used a 10 mm spanner and put it round the dustcap. Then held the valve with pliers It came off after gently moving the spanner backwards and forwards :thumbs:

i had same problem, put wd40 on it let it soak then used 2 pairs of pliers to get em off, looks like the caps had corroded and bonded themselves to the valve guess i was lucky and caught it in time

y7es i tried with 2 [airs of pliers and it just started ripping the plastic valve :look:
i guess it will be new valves at the weekend

no u wont need new valves

I had a similar problem with some dus caps that I bought ages ago, get 2 pairs of pliers, hold one on the valve to stop it from turning and the other on the dust cap to turn the dust cap with

got some metal 1s a while ago free whith sum mag, i thot yes why not put them on better than just the black ones :o
OH how i was wrong went to check tyre pressure and cant get the fuckers off :mad: tryed with plyers and everything!! only got two as had couple of punctures recently so i now have two tyres at the right pressure and two well fuck nos really :( :lol:
