need to clean your throttle body switch.
Its a peace of pish :)
I did this 2 weeks ago ( i too had idle trouble) and it sorted it straight away.
Only takes an hour, dead easy:
this is for a Veccy, but similar principle to the Corsa:

yeh sounds like your idle control valve ICV,
either give it a clean or a new one

very common problem

The EML wont come on even if it is the ICV which 95% of the time is the cause for erratic idling

even tho no management light would try paperclip test. my money would be on air flow meter or idle conbtrol valve

ello peeps.... Just wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem as its doing my head in:mad:

I have a x16xe (corsa sport) and its fine from cold and fine when driving but now and again (Not all the time) when idling at light ect it idle's around 1400 rpm but there is no management light to tell me it could be any of the following, idle control valve, ecm, coolant temp sensor and so one.

Im just wondering if any of you guys could help.

Cheers
