They serviced mine and washed and hoovered it yesterday, and lent me a 12 volt just in case I was feeling lonely.

Your talking about Earth leakage then, not fluid leakage, just to clairfy it for the readers....

they said to me on my car.

leaked in passenger footwell and blamed it on the sound system too. same as my my mate that had problem and he wrote a letter to vauxhall. haven't asked him what happened though.

vauxhall dealerships = homosexual, walking, talking, monkeys.

i was thinking this. obviously it would help if you had someone outside the car to tighten it. ive always got my trusty manual windows so ill never get trapped in :D oh the glories of non-electric stuff:lol:

Recently i have a had a huge leak in the car which vaux blamed on my sound system.. (fair point) they had to remove (or move) the battery to remove the box that holds all the wires in on my corsa c.

Wednesday eve after work 3 weeks after having this work done go to start car and interior light bulb blows and everything flashes at me :! ohh fook car wont start at all.. no battery light at the time.. eventually waited 5 mins and tried again and battery light comes on.. everythings obviously disabled so i have to call out the AA via vauxhall road assistance..

attempted to have a look at the battery but did not want to touch it and had no tools anyway

wait and hour due to rush hour and bloke wires his machine up the battery expecting it to be flat and the battery moved slighty, then he touches the terminals and the negative is really loose :rolleyes::mad: AA bloke says have i touched it, i reply no and explain Vaux were the last people to remove it.. lets say he was shocked at how this could have happened.

in hindsight ok i should maybe carry a spanner with me and it may have been problem solved, but it was pitch dark so i could harldy see anyway :look: but what would have happened if i had got down the road at 70mph on the dual carriageways or 60mph dodgy country roads i use to get home and my car cuts out.

talk about potentially dangerous and life threatening..

just been down and gave them a piece of my mind, spoke to the top man at the local dealership and have been given a complaints address and he will be speaking to the mechanic in question for making such a simple but utter stupid mistake..

:mad::mad::mad:

rant over :lol:
