What you mean swiftie??

You could've tried to force a new install (like the way an engineer would do as long as the dish is aligned) to see if the DISH is aligned correctly to the Astra 2D at 28.2°E satilite.

Good going with the managing to get a free engineer though.

Have you plugged the dish into the skybox? It should be the only place that connector fits. It'll screw into the skybox.

aye, its called an F-connector...and is a screw thread type connector, with a metal centre pin  Make sure that it is put in properly and tightly done up.

If its still fecked and it showing, then its usually a moved dish or feck lnb - in which case an engineer is the only option :(

Failing this, give us a shout and we can try something esle. ;)

iwork for sky aswell and if u fone to cancel after being quoted the 65 to get an eng out its down to what person u get on the other end of the turnaround line.... u might get it free or they might let u cancel.

as for nss, try taking the card out, switch ing it all off, check cables tightly connected then switch it all back on.. if that makes no diff then its usually a fucked box or the lnb or dish.

if ur gettin no satellite signal it means its setup rite, only thing that could be wrong is the aerial aint in right. If its a nss could be down to bad weather or ur dish is screwed. A used to work for sky,tip for u if u need a service call, instead of paying 65 quid call up and ask to cancel, they'll pass u to the turnaround team who'll offer a free or half price service call

I need a favour guys!

My SKY is showing that 'No satelite signal is being received' thing :(

Rang them up and they said they have to send out an engineer at £65 to fix it but i think i've messed up the wires!!!!

I need to know....

What wires are cnnected to were? Were does the Airial connect to if you have a video?

I have a scart lead connecting the SKY box to the TV.And a lead going from the SKY to the TV.A lead going from the Video to the SKY and a scart going from the Video to the SKY.

PLEASE HELP :(
